Let's travel in Zambales

From wildlife farms and historic places to pristine beaches and magnificent coves, Zambales surely does not disappoint! Here are our top 10 picks of the best places to visit in Zambales.

1. Anawangin Cove

- is not an island; it is part of mainland Luzon. However, it is tucked away behind the mountains that getting there by land requires hours of trekking over an almost bare landscape. The easiest way to reach it is by boat, and the closest major settlement is Brgy. Pundaquit.

2. Capones Island - This bone-shaped island is a traveler’s favorite because of its stunning white sand and water with different hues of blue as it gets deeper. Every corner in Capones Island is very Instagrammable.

3. Nagsasa Cove - Has all the good things Anawangin is famous for, like the natural viewpoint on a hill and a postcard-worthy inlet.

4. Liwliwa Beach - The waves here are perfect for surfing and the best part about it is that you don’t have to compete with other people to get a good spot because there are fewer tourists here. But it’s not only about surfing, Liwliwa Beach also offers a great view of the sunset.

5. Talisayen Cove - Nature lovers will enjoy its crystal-clear waters, rock formations, and a lush mountain. You can go trekking or hiking in the mountain. Every corner is perfect for you.

6. Magalawa Island - is one of the most favorite Zambales tourist spots of backpackers and those who are more into DIY adventures. It is now a rising star on social media because of its fine white sand and pristine sandbar.

7. Potipot Island - It may be a small island but you’d definitely have enough (and more) of what you asked for, for a quick beach getaway. Rent a kayak to explore the island to make your trip more fun.

8. Subic Bay - Caters to all kinds of travelers as there’s a wide range of choices, from budget-friendly to high-end resorts. Some are even theme parks and inflatable islands.

9. Camara Island - If you want to go on a snorkeling trip, swimming, or just have a photoshoot for the ‘gram, Camara Island is the perfect place for that! It features rocky hills, huge chunks of rock formations, boulders of rock, and a sand beach.

10. Mt. Pinatubo - Stand in awe once you see Mt. Pinatubo, often called the “beautiful disaster”. To see the magnificent crystal clear waters of Crater Lake, you will have to ride the 4×4 or an ATV.
