FUN FACT: Nagsasa Cove (Zambales, Philippines)

Did You Know? There is a cove in Zambales that absorbs heat faster than the usual sand.

Nagsasa Cove, similar to Anawangin, is an ash beach that absorbs heat more quickly than regular sand on most beaches. Aside from the unusual sand, this place also comes with pine-like trees called Agoho trees.

This cove is surrounded with hills which tourists can climb to have a panoramic view of the beach. There is a small waterfall hidden in the mountain’s side too, just 30-min hike inland.

Aside from Nagsasa Cove, Zambales also has Anawangin, Talisayin and Silanguin coves
